✨ Spinning The Joy 💚: DJ Rupert (London) ✨
Rupert is one of the most popular and sought-after salsa DJs on both the London and international circuits, known for his distinctive musicality and dancefloor energy.
Specialising in Salsa Dura, Romántica, Mambo and Classic Salsa, he brings depth, groove and authenticity to every set — supported by an impressive vinyl collection loved by dancers who appreciate rich, old-school sounds.
He hosts Revolution, one of London’s favourite salsa socials, and regularly DJs at the city’s top parties. His reach extends far beyond the UK, performing at major congresses and marathons in Paris, Madrid, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania and more.
For many of us here in Bristol, Rupert is more than a visiting DJ - he’s part of our story. Having lived in the city and contributed to our local scene, he’s always felt like one of our own… a homegrown star who’s gone international, but still carries a piece of Bristol with him.
We’re thrilled to welcome him back to Salsa Joy for our Christmas Edition.
NOTE online booking is advised, prices are £12 after 3pm on the day of the event. NO EXTRA COST FOR THE CLASS.
💃🕺
✨ Colour Vibe: “Sparkles & Winter Whites” ✨
Our colour vibe for the evening is Sparkles & Winter Whites - a blend of glamour and winter glow.
Come shining in sparkly reds, greens, golds, silvers, sequins and shimmer, or in soft winter tones like ivory, cream, champagne and pearl. Anything festive that catches the light is perfect.
! THE 3RD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH !
This is salsa socials the way we love them - heavy on the salsa and mambo with the occasional cha cha thrown in, and nothing else.
7pm - 8pm : Free class! Improver salsa guest Cedric and Host Angela
8pm - 11pm : guest DJ - Rupert (London)
